DISCOGRAPHY
A recommended record for those who are interested in following the development of Swedish folk music during the years from 1970 to 1990 is the CD box Årsringar (Annual Rings), MNWCD 194-195.
From 1995 to 1997 the Swedish Concert Institute, in collaboration with the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation, The Centre for Swedish Folk Music and Jazz Research and the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, have issued a CD series on the Caprice Records label, Folk Music In Sweden. The series is based on remasterings of documentary recorded material and gives a comprehensive picture of the development of Swedish folk music from the 1940s to the 1990s. Folk Music In Sweden comprises 20 issues with a total of 25 CDs.
Another recommendation for those who want to follow the development of Swedish folk music is Folk Net Sweden, which is a collaboration between Swedish record producers. New folk music productions are presented via a common home site on Internet: FolkNetSweden.
