| The mouth-organ and the accordion have found it 
			difficult to gain acceptance in folk-music circles: fiddlers have 
			displayed a great aversion towards the accordion in particular. The 
			accordion, relatively loud and easy to play, became a serious 
			competitor to the fiddle as a supplier of dance music around the 
			turn of the century. The two mouth-organists from Jämtland (5 a-b) have skilfully adapted traditional fiddle tunes to the more limited mouth-organ.  |
