There are CDs available, in some cases several, with practically every band or artist mentioned.

The early development of jazz in Sweden can best followed in a series of CDs published by Caprice Records, the record label of the Swedish Concert Institute. "The History of Swedish jazz" (Svensk jazzhistoria) consists of ten volumes , all of which are accompanied by booklets with a wealth of information (each has an English summary) and illustrations:
