4 Kreuz Flava are three guys, all born in 1975. They are inspired by Boyz2Men and sing r&b and blues a capella. The members are Paul Mbenna, from Southern Tanzania, Mussa Tagalile also from Southern Tanzania and Abdul Kitenge from Tanga. We talked to Paul and Mussa.

The group was formed in 1995 and sings at night clubs, beauty contests, fund raising events. They sing in English.
There are Kiswahili words that are not melodical. It's easier to make a song that is in mixed Kiswahili and English.

4 Kreuz Flava claims to be the only group in their style in Tanzania:
The problem is, here people seem to be afraid of this kind of music. I don't know why. Maybe they are not confident enough to do it. Maybe in two year some others will come. They think it's too hard.

They haven't recorded anything but plan to.
